The Landeggbach , also Landeckbach , is a brook in the municipality of Matrei in East Tyrol ( Lienz district ). It flows through the uninhabited Landeggtal in the Granatspitz group and flows into the Tauernbach between Tauer and Raneburg . The water of the Landeggbach is collected at around 2000 m and largely transferred to the Tauernmoossee of the Stubachtal power plant group .
course
The Landeggbach feeds itself from several source streams that arise on the Prägratwand in the basin between Sillingkopf , Amertaler Höhe , Großer Landeggkopf , Stubacher Sonnblick and Granatspitze and partly drain the Prägratkees . Another source stream exists with the outflow of the Schandlasees. The Landeggbach then flows in a southerly direction to the so-called Mossbichl at an altitude of around 2000 meters, where the water is diverted to the northeast into the Tauernmoos reservoir. The remaining water then flows further south, where it takes up the Seebach on the right-hand side and then branches off to the southwest and then to the west. It flows past the Landeggalm, in the area of which it takes up the Goldredbach on the right and then flows below the Kalser Alm into the Tauernbach.
