The State Garden Show Wernigerode 2006 was the 2nd State Garden Show in Saxony-Anhalt . It took place from April 15 to October 8, 2006 in the city of Wernigerode in the Harz district under the motto " Experience Harz views ". Wernigerode is located on the northern edge of the Harz between Bad Harzburg and Quedlinburg .
The exhibition area was characterized by a chain of seven lakes and the direct connection to the Harz Mountains. Blooms and colors in three seasons were offered in around 100 themed gardens and in large hall shows. The "Gartenträume" garden enabled a connection to well-known gardens in Saxony-Anhalt, such as B. the monastery gardens in Drübeck , the Dessau-Wörlitz garden realm and the baroque garden in Haldensleben .
