District Court Dessau-Roßlau
The Dessau-Roßlau Regional Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of four regional courts in Saxony-Anhalt . It is based in Dessau-Roßlau .

The district courts of Bitterfeld-Wolfen , Dessau-Roßlau , Köthen , Wittenberg and Zerbst belong to the judicial district . The higher regional court of Naumburg is superordinate to the Dessau-Roßlau regional court .

Initially, they were accommodated in the district court building . In 1994 work began on building a new regional court building, which was available in 1996. In addition to the regional court, the State Constitutional Court of Saxony-Anhalt and the Dessau-Roßlau Labor Court are located in the “Justice Center Anhalt” . In November 2007, the Finance Court of Saxony-Anhalt also moved in.
history
From 1879 to 1952 and since 1992, Dessau was or is the seat of a regional court. In the course of the district reform, the name of the court changed to "Landgericht Dessau-Roßlau" on July 1, 2007.
