The district court of Bitterfeld-Wolfen is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of five district courts (AG) in the district of the district court of Dessau-Roßlau .

Seat and District of the Court

The seat of the court is Bitterfeld-Wolfen , the largest city in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district . The 517 km² judicial district includes the cities of Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Sandersdorf-Brehna and Zörbig as well as the municipalities of Muldestausee and Raguhn-Jeßnitz . More than 85,000 people live in it.

For insolvency proceedings is Amtsgericht Dessau in charge, which is also central enforcement court is. Dunning proceedings are processed by the Aschersleben District Court , the joint dunning court of the states of Saxony-Anhalt , Saxony and Thuringia . The registry court is the Stendal District Court .
