State election in Upper Austria in 1925
The state elections in Upper Austria in 1925 were carried out on May 17, 1925 and were the second state elections in Upper Austria after the First Republic was established . The Christian Social Party (CS) was again able to achieve the absolute majority of votes and mandates with 53.7% and subsequently held 34 of the 60 mandates in the state parliament, which had previously been downsized. The Social Democratic Workers' Party of German Austria (SDAPDÖ), on the other hand, lost around three percentage points and won 16 seats with 26% of the vote. The Greater German People's Party (GDVP) and the Landbund (LB), which ran together under the name of the German Freedom and Order Party in the last state election, suffered losses with 16.25% and 10 seats.
The Landtag of the XIII. The electoral term was subsequently constituted and the provincial government Hauser VI was elected as the new Upper Austrian provincial government, which was replaced by the provincial government Schlegel I in 1927.
