The Lange Grundbach is a left tributary to the Wilden Weißeritz near Klingenberg , Saxony . It flows through the Lange Grund .

course

The Lange Grundbach rises southeast of Neuklingenberg at the foot of the Neuklingenberger Höhe (476 m) in the Colmnitz district . In its upper course, the stream flows northeast to the area around Klingenberg. At the stairs leading down from Neuklingenberg, the stream is crossed by a hiking trail to the Klingenberg dam ; the wooden bridge built in 2003 was demolished in autumn 2016 because it was dilapidated. The stream then takes an easterly direction, in its middle course it is bridged by an 18 m high matchstick bridge, over which the high path runs on the old railway route for the dam construction. Shortly before its mouth, the creek is crossed by the street An der Talsperre . After almost a kilometer, the Lange Grundbach flows into the Wilde Weißeritz between the Klingenberg waterworks and the Hintermühle .

The stream flows exclusively through unpopulated area, and with the exception of the mouth area, through the Klingenberg Forest.
