Larisa Timchina (born December 7, 1966 in Dubăsari ) is a former Moldovan biathlete .

Larisa Timchina lives as an engineer in Chișinău . She began biathlon in 1986 and competed for the Central Army Sports Club . At the 1997 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Krakow , she won the bronze medal in sprint races behind Wolha Nasarawa and Irina Tananaiko . A year later she was fourth in Osrblie and thus just missed another medal against Adrianna Babik and Nina Lemesch . Timchina contested their first and only World Cup races in 1999 . In three races she was 75th in Oberhof , 92nd in Ruhpolding and 63rd in Antholz .
