Larissa Claaßen (born March 6, 1995 in Bad Essen ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Claaßen began her career at VfL Lintorf . She then played at SV Bad Laer until 2013 . In 2012 she was runner-up in the U18. With the Lower Saxony state selection, she also came third three times from 2010 to 2012. In 2013-14 she studied at North Idaho College and played for the Cardinals team. In 2014 the outside attacker moved to the second division SWE Volley-Team in Erfurt . In the 2014/15 season she reached sixth place with the team. In the following season , the team managed to move up to the first division as runner-up. In 2016, however, Claaßen moved to third division TV Villingen .

Career Beach

Claaßen played various junior tournaments with changing partners from 2008 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016 she only played a few tournaments. Since 2018 she has formed a team with Nina Interwies . On the technician Beach Tour 2018 Claaßen / Interwies came to Munster on the qualification into the main draw and occupied the 13th place. In Düsseldorf they reached fifth place. In Kühlungsborn they were right in the main field and were fifth again. Then there were two 13th places in Leipzig and Zinnowitz . In their first year together, Claaßen / Interwies thus qualified for the German Beach Volleyball Championship 2018 in Timmendorfer Strand , where they also took 13th place. They started the Techniker Beach Tour 2019 with two ninth places in Münster and Düsseldorf. In Nuremberg they came in 13th and in Dresden they were ninth again. There were three fifth places in the beach tournaments and 13th place in Kühlungsborn. The German Beach Volleyball Championship 2019 concluded Claaßen / Interwies as last year to 13th place from. In 2020 they qualified for the German championship via the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 .
