Larissa Sjusko

Larissa Sjusko ( Russian Лариса Зюзько , English transcription Larisa Zyuzko ; born April 27, 1969 ) is a Russian marathon runner .

In 1994 she became the Russian marathon champion in Kaliningrad in 2:39:31 h. The following year she was sixth in the IAAF World Cup marathon and came in 24th at the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg . In 1996 she finished fifth in the Boston Marathon and won the Ocean State Marathon in Warwick . In 2002 she won the Cleveland Marathon and finished third in the Ocean State Marathon with 2:29:42 h for the first time under two and a half hours. The following year, she finished eleventh in the London Marathon in 2:28:05 and finished 25th in the World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis .

In 2004 she was fourth in the Paris marathon and eighth in the New York City Marathon and in 2005 second in the Prague and Dublin marathons . In 2006, she set her personal best as second in the Rome marathon with 2:26:26 and was third in Dublin. After second places in 2007 in Dublin and 2008 in Rome, she succeeded in autumn 2008 in winning the Dublin Marathon in 2:29:55.

Larissa Sjusko is 1.68 m tall, weighs 56 kg and lives in Novosibirsk . She is trained by AA Schilkin.
