The Larone (also: Ruisseau de Larone called) is a river in France that runs in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . It rises on the northern edge of the forest area Forêt Domaniale d'Agre , on the municipal boundary of Lacourt-Saint-Pierre and Montech , generally drains to the northwest and flows into the Tarn as a left tributary after around 24 kilometers in the northern municipality of Castelsarrasin .

In its upper reaches, the Larone crosses the Canal de Montech , as well as the A 62 motorway , which accompanies it for most of its way. In the estuary section, the river runs on the edge of the Aérodrome de Castelsarrasin – Moissac airfield .
