Las Nieves is a municipality in the province of Agusan del Norte on the island of Mindanao in the southern Philippines .

In particular, these were the villages of Las Nieves, Remedios, Esperanza , Guadalope and San Luis , of which Las Nievas is the one that was founded first. The village is named after the patron saint Nuestra Señora de las Nieves of the mother of Jesus .
