The Laudenauer Bach is an almost four kilometers long left and west tributary of the Mergbach .

The Laudenauer Bach rises in the Odenwald at an altitude of 436  m above sea level. NN on the edge of a small forest northwest of Reichelsheim - Laudenau . It initially flows in a south-easterly direction, crosses the hamlet of Freiheit-Laudenau and then runs through a meadow landscape on the eastern edge of Laudenau. After crossing under Reichesheimer Weg , it turns south and now flows parallel to Gumpener Straße . At the height of the flower street he crosses the Gumpener street . There it is fed by the cabbage on its right side from the stream coming from the northwest . The Laudenauer Bach now changes its direction south-east again, then reaches the southern edge of the village of Klein-Gumpem , where it finally reaches an altitude of 226  m above sea level. NN south of the corner of Mergbachstrasse / Heidelberger Strasse flows into the Mergbach .
