history

Information board of the Drachenfels Club

The hunting lodge was built in 1845 in the style of a small Greek temple . The builder Wilhelm Retzer from Freinsheim named it after his wife Laura born. Sneak. After Retzer's death (1856), the heirs had the hunting lodge auctioned; it went to an owner association of 30 people from Leistadt.

The hut has probably been maintained by the Drachenfels Club since 1875 .
