The Laurahütte is a hunting lodge in the northern Palatinate Forest ( Rhineland-Palatinate ). It is one of the cultural monuments of the spa and district town of Bad Dürkheim .
Geographical location
The hunting lodge is located northeast of the 470.1 m high Weilerskopf at a height of about 370 m on the forest markings of the Bad Dürkheim district of Leistadt .
history
The hunting lodge was built in 1845 in the style of a small Greek temple . The builder Wilhelm Retzer from Freinsheim named it after his wife Laura born. Sneak. After Retzer's death (1856), the heirs had the hunting lodge auctioned; it went to an owner association of 30 people from Leistadt.
