Laurin & Klement A (1922)

The Laurin & Klement A , and Type 100 called, was an enlarged successor of the Laurin & Klement T . The car came out in 1922 with various bodies in a wood / steel mixed construction.

The water-cooled, side-controlled four-stroke engine with L-head had a displacement of 1791 cm³ and an output of 20 hp (15 kW). He accelerated the vehicle up to 80 km / h. The drive force was passed on to the rear wheels via the gearbox flanged to the engine block and a cardan shaft. The frame of the car was made of riveted steel U-profiles.
