Laurin & Klement E.

The Laurin & Klement E called 24/30 HP was the largest car model in parallel with the type B and type C built. Like its sister models, it came out in 1906 as a double phaeton (open 4-seater) "Roi des Belges". The Model E was built from 1906 to 1909, a total of 16 pieces were produced.

The water-cooled, side-controlled four-cylinder four-stroke engine with T-head had a displacement of 4562 cm³ and an output of 35 hp (26 kW). He accelerated the vehicle up to 85 km / h. The drive power was passed on to the rear wheels via the separate gearbox and a cardan shaft. The frame of the car was made of riveted steel U-profiles.
