Laurin & Klement B.

The Laurin & Klement B called 8/9 HP was the successor of the first automobile of Laurin & Klement, the Type A . It came out in 1906 as a two-seat voiturette.

The water-cooled, alternately controlled four-stroke engine had a displacement of 1399 cm³ and an output of 9 hp (6.6 kW). He accelerated the 500-600 kg vehicle up to 45 km / h. The drive power was passed on to the rear wheels via the separate gearbox and a cardan shaft. The frame of the car was made of riveted steel U-profiles.

In addition to 222 two-seater Voiturettes, 15 four-seater and 13 chassis and utility vehicles were produced from this model, making a total of 250 vehicles.
