Lawrence Konner

Lawrence Konner (born September 14, 1949 in Brooklyn , New York City , New York ) is an American screenwriter and producer .

Life

Lawrence Konner was born on September 14, 1949 in Brooklyn , New York City and in 1971 had their daughter Jennifer "Jenni" A. Konner with his first wife Ronnie Wenker- Konner . He later moved with his family to Los Angeles , where he and Ronnie had their son Jeremy Konner . Both children are also active in the film industry today.

Konner served on the Writers Guild of America Board of Directors from 1980 to 1992 and was a former creative director at Sundance Institute . Konner is also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences .

In 2007 Konner married the British writer Zoë Heller , with whom he had two daughters, Frankie and Louella. However, the couple split in 2010.
