Leon Schröder

León Schröder (* 1987 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German actor .

Life

León Schröder completed his acting studies from 2007 to October 2011 at the Berlin University of the Arts . During his studies he had his first engagements at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Maxim-Gorki-Theater . In addition, from April to June 2011 he was a guest at the Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart as Damis in Tartuffe .

He then received his first permanent engagement for the 2011/12 season at the Junge Theater Göttingen , where he a. a. performed in Dea Loher's Strange House . This was followed by theater engagements at various Berlin theaters (Deutsches Theater, Maxim-Gorki-Theater). In 2014, he produced and played the classroom play The Sorrows of Young Werther in a cooperation between the Maxim Gorki Theater and the Rütli School in Berlin , which was accompanied by a video blog on YouTube . Between 2014 and 2017 he appeared in several productions at the Hans-Otto-Theater in Potsdam . From March to July 2016 he played Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing at the Stuttgart theater . In 2017 he performed at Ballhaus Ost . From April to June 2018 he played the roles of August von Goethe and Werther in the production Lotte in Weimar at the Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart alongside Uta-Maria Schütze .

Schröder also stood in front of the camera for some film and TV productions. He acted in several short films. In the 8th season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar (2012) he took on one of the episode roles as lifeguard Nikolaus Langer. For his other film roles, he visited the Susan Batson Studio in New York and the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles in the spring and summer of 2019 .

León Schröder lives in Berlin .
