Le Petit-Mercey is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Dampierre with 125 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté .
The municipality of Le Petit-Mercey merged with Dampierre on January 1st, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Dampierre. It belonged to the Arrondissement of Dole and the Canton of Authume .
The neighboring communities were:
- Mercey-le-Grand ( Doubs department ) in the north and east,
- Évans and Dampierre in the south,
- Louvatange in the west,
- Romain in the northwest.
