Le Recoux is a former French commune with 134 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . The inhabitants are called Recoussiens .
With effect from January 1, 2017, Le Recoux was merged with the municipalities of Les Vignes , Le Massegros , Saint-Georges-de-Lévéjac and Saint-Rome-de-Dolan to form a commune nouvelle called Massegros Causses Gorges , where it has been since then has the status of a Commune déléguée .
