With effect from January 1, 2017, Saint-Georges-de-Lévéjac was merged with the municipalities of Les Vignes , Le Recoux , Le Massegros and Saint-Rome-de-Dolan to form a nouvelle commune called Massegros Causses Gorges , where it has since been has the status of a Commune déléguée .
