Saint-Rome-de-Dolan is a former French commune with 62 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region .
With effect from January 1, 2017, Saint-Rome-de-Dolan merged with the municipalities of Les Vignes , Le Recoux , Saint-Georges-de-Lévéjac and Le Massegros to form a commune nouvelle called Massegros Causses Gorges , where it has been since then has the status of a Commune déléguée .
geography
Saint-Rome-de-Dolan is a mountain village located around 22 kilometers northeast of the city of Millau . It is located at 851 m above sea level on the edge of the limestone plateau of the Causse de Sauveterre , west of the Gorges du Tarn .
