Le divan de Staline is a French film drama from the year 2017 , which on a novel by Jean-Daniel Baltassat based. In the role of Josef Stalin 's Gerard Depardieu to see. It was directed by Fanny Ardant , who also wrote the script.

action

The film is about a fictional long weekend that Stalin should have spent recovering on the advice of his doctors. Because of a couch in Stalin's room, Stalin and his mistress Lidia deal with Stalin's dreams and Freud's interpretation of dreams .

Also present is a sculptor who was supposed to create a memorial and was turned through the mills of the KGB. The meeting of the three people leads to a love triangle dictated by power and fear.
