Leandro Salino do Carmo (born April 22, 1985 in Juiz de Fora ) is a Brazilian football player . He has been playing for EC Vitória since 2017 . He plays in defense as a right full-back and can also be used in defensive midfield. Salino is currently without a contract.

Career

Salino began his career at home in the youth division of Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte . He then moved to the first team of Améric FC before being loaned out to Ipatinga FC . In 2005 he came to Europe for the first time and played briefly at Nacional Funchal , where he could not book a game. Then it was awarded by the men from Madeira to AD Camacha and again to Ipatinga FC. In 2007 he finally returned to Brazil and initially played for Flamengo Rio de Janeiro before being loaned to Ipatinga FC for the third time. In 2009 he moved back to Nacional.

The midfielder made his debut at the European club level when he played through in the qualifier for the Europa League against the representative from Russia Zenit St. Petersburg . The game on August 20, 2009 ended 4-3. After the end of the 2009/10 season, he turned his back on Funchal and moved to Sporting Braga within the top Portuguese division . In the summer of 2013 Salino signed a contract with the Greek record champions Olympiacos Piraeus. With the club he was three times Greek champion 2014 to 2016 and cup winner 2015.

In December 2016, the move from Salino to his homeland became known. He got a contract with the EC Vitória . With the club, he won the Bahia State Championship in 2017 . After he has not played since the 14th matchday in the 2017 championship , Salino moved to Santa Cruz FC in February 2018 . In June of that year he was released from Santa Cruz. In the same month he received a contract with league rivals Botafogo FC (SP) . After the end of Série C in December, the next move from Salino became known. Tupynambás FC became his new home . After completing the state championship of Minas Gerais with the club, he moved to Joinville EC to compete with this in the D series. In June, the club was eliminated in the group stage of the competition and Salino left the club. He signed another contract with Barra FC (SC) , with whom he competed in the second division of the national championship of Santa Catarina . This ended in August. Since then, Salino has been without a contract.
