Leckingsen is a district of the city of Iserlohn in the Sauerland . The village used to belong to the municipality of Hennen , which was incorporated into Iserlohn on January 1, 1975.

Leckingsen is located south of the Iserlohn district of Kalthof and northwest of the Iserlohn Heide . The village consists largely of farms and is sparsely populated. For the statistical district Kalthof – Leckingsen – Refflingsen 3,428 inhabitants are reported.
