Janet Lee (born October 22, 1976 in Lafayette , Indiana , United States ) is a former Taiwanese tennis player .
Career
Lee began playing tennis at the age of five. She was trained by her father.
In her professional career, she won three double titles on the WTA Tour , all of them on hard court and two of them alongside her Indonesian doubles partner Wynne Prakusya . In 2001 they defeated the pairing Nicole Arendt / Caroline Vis at the WTA tournament in Stanford, California, and in Doha in 2003 María Vento-Kabchi and Angelique Widjaja . In between, Lee won the title at the WTA tournament in Shanghai together with Anna Kurnikowa in 2002 .
For the Taiwanese Fed Cup team , she played no fewer than 37 games between 1998 and 2002, of which she was able to win 29.
