Lee Kang-seok (born February 28, 1985 in Uijeongbu ) is a South Korean speed skater . He is a specialist in sprint routes.
In November 2005, Lee won his first 500 meter World Cup in Milwaukee . Two further victories and several podium places followed by 2006. In the 2005/06 season he also won the overall world cup over 500 meters. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , he achieved bronze over 500 meters behind Joey Cheek and Dmitri Dorofejew . At the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver , Lee narrowly missed the medal ranks in fourth place.
