Mo Tae-bum ( kor. 모태 범 ; born February 15, 1989 ) is a South Korean speed skater .

As a junior he won two world championship titles over 500 meters and 1500 meters in Erfurt in 2006 . In 2009 he won two gold medals in the 1000 meters and 1500 meters at the Winter Universiade in Harbin .

At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he took part over 500 meters, 1000 meters and 1500 meters. He won the gold medal over 500 meters with a time of 34.923 seconds, as well as the silver medal over 1000 meters.

He took the Olympic oath as the athletes' representative at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.
