Kenneth Charles "Ken" Henry (born January 7, 1929 in Chicago , Illinois , † March 1, 2009 in Lake Bluff , Illinois) was an American speed skater .

He won the gold medal over 500 meters at the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 . 28,000 spectators watched his victory in 43.2 seconds in the Bislett Stadium. At the 1956 Games he was fourth over this route.

At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley , he carried the torch into the stadium for the opening ceremony. Eight years later he was the head coach of the American speed skating team in Grenoble .
