Lehmbuch , also Lembuch , was a part of the former municipality of Amselfing and is now a desert in the municipality of Aiterhofen .

The place was on the river Ainbrach , almost in the middle and a little west of the road between the two places Ainbrach and Schambach , today's district road SR 22 . Here the road branched off via Wachtlau to Hunderdorf and crossed the stream at the property.

history

The place is mentioned in 1599 in the description of properties of the Straubing Regional Court. After 1752, the lower court rights lay with the Osterhofen women's monastery . From 1814 Lehmbuch belonged to the ruling court of the Hofmark Irlbach of Count Bray .

The first historical recording from the first half of the 19th century shows the property at number 47 with large buildings and surrounding areas of around 166 days . In 1866 the property was put up for auction under its then owner Anton Singer and at that time comprised a total of 195.16 days of work in the tax communities of Amselfing and Schambach. In 1870 a Mathias Wild is the farmer in Lehmbuch.

The place was abandoned as a place to live after 1900 and before 1913, as there are no data on the place in the register of 1916 and the censuses from 1925 onwards.
