Amselfing is a district of the municipality of Aiterhofen in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

location

The church village Amselfing is located in the Gäuboden about two kilometers north-east of Aiterhofen between the SR 19 district road in the north and the Regensburg – Passau railway line in the south.

history

In 1334 Hart Weich, Altman and Eberwein von Degenberg sold their "good and valid ze Ansolfing" with all rights and benefits to the Cistercian monastery Seligenthal in Landshut. This was able to acquire jurisdiction rights in 1346 and at the same time expand its manorial power in the place. The closed Hofmark Amselfing was subordinate to the Salching sub-office in the description of the property by the Straubing Regional Court in 1599 . In the year of conscription in 1752, Amselfing consisted of eleven properties.

Amselfing remained in possession of the monastery until the secularization of Bavaria in 1803. Thereafter, his goods were transferred to the Ludwig Maximilians University , which was then based in Landshut . In 1808 the residents of the former Hofmark were provisionally subordinated to the Straubing District Court in 1818 . In 1808 the Amselfing tax district was formed, and the Amselfing rural community in 1818/1821 . Amselfing was given a railway connection on the Regensburg – Passau railway line built in 1859/1860, as the larger Schambach had spoken out against such a connection.

In 1952 the municipality of Amselfing had the following eleven districts: Amselfing, Ainbrach , Asham , Entau , Fruhstorf , Hermannsdorf , Hunderdorf , Moosdorf , Sand , Sophienhof and Wachtlau . The former district of Lehmbuch had already been given up at this point. As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , most of it was incorporated into the municipality of Aiterhofen on May 1, 1978 . The distant districts of Sophienhof and Entau came to Straßkirchen and after the restoration of the Irlbach municipality in 1983 finally to this.

In terms of church, Amselfing belongs to the parish of Ittling .
