course
The Leibi has its origin right next to an industrial area in the western part of Weißenhorn , which, like the fields to the north of it, it flows through in a south-north direction. Then she briefly moves to the west in a wooded area. In the further course it leads past the hamlet Hirbishofen ( Pfaffenhofen an der Roth ), through the municipality of Holzheim and the village of Steinheim (eastern district of Neu-Ulm ). It then flows twice under the A7 motorway in the area of the “Nersingen” junction and changes its route towards the northeast from this point on. It also runs through the village of Leibi (north-western part of the municipality of Nersingen ) and finally flows into the Danube , which comes from the west, after flowing a few hundred meters through the alluvial forest .
