Lena Schömann

Lena Schömann (* 8. June 1980 in Munich as Lena Olbrich ) is a German film producer.

Life

Lena Schömann studied German and communication studies from 2000 to 2005 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . She began her film career while studying at Indigo Filmproduktion and Rat Pack Filmproduktion GmbH . After graduating, she was involved in the creation of several TV series and cinema productions.

In 2010 the producer for suburban crocodiles from Christian Ditter received the German Film Prize.

In 2012 she was responsible for the first cinema adaptation of a German comedy series with the popular success Turkish for Beginners by Bora Drachtkin . In 2013 she produced the hit movie Fack ju Göhte by Bora Drachtkin, followed by Fack ju Göhte 2 (2015). With Fack ju Göhte 3 she produced the most successful film of 2017 and thus complemented the Fack-ju-Göhte trilogy as the most successful German film series to date. In 2019 Lena Schömann produced The Perfect Secret by Bora Drachtkin, which also became the most successful film of the year.

She has been a producer at Constantin Film Produktion GmbH since 2014 .
