Lenon Fernandes Ribeiro , (born May 2, 1990 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian soccer player . He will be used in the position of a defensive right midfielder .

Career

Lenon started his career in the junior departments of the Madureira EC and Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . Although still a member of the youth squad, he played at Flamengo from the 2009 season in the professional squad from time to time. He made his debut in the state championship in Rio de Janeiro , which he won with Flamengo. In the course of winning the fifth championship title , he appeared in nine games in 2009 (no goal). On August 5, 2009, the 17th matchday of the season, he ran as a substitute in the Série A at home against the Goiás EC . With Flamengo, he also made his international club debut that year. In the first round of the Copa Sudamericana 2009 he played on August 12 against local rivals Fluminense Rio de Janeiro , as well as in the second leg he was in the starting line-up.

After Lenon only sat four times on the reserve bench at Flamengo in the 2010 championship , he was loaned to league rivals Goiás in September until the end of the season in December. For the 2011 season Lenon did not return to Flamengo. For the games for the national championship he came to Duque de Caxias FC and for the championship round in the Série B to Náutico Capibaribe . In December of that year, the loan deal was extended. The exact end of the contract with Náutico is unknown. In the 2012 season he played five more games (one goal) by April, two of them in the Pernambuco national championship and three in the 2012 Copa do Brasil . In September he was loaned to Sport Recife by Flamengo . Lenon did not appear again until the end of the season at the beginning of December.

Lenon also played no role in Flamengo's squad planning for the 2013 season and was loaned to Macaé Esporte FC for the national championship. For the championship round 2013 he came back to Duque de Caxias on loan in the Série C. After the end of the season, his contract with Flamengo expired and Lenon was permanently taken over by Caxias for the 2014 season. A year he left the club again and signed with AD Cabofriense . After Lenon was able to convince with his performances in the course of the national championship, he was signed by Guarani FC until the end of 2016 . In December 2016, Lenon received a contract with Guarani until the end of 2018.

In the course of the Série A2 of the São Paulo State Championship in 2018, Lenon again drew attention to himself with such good performances that the CR Vasco da Gama signed him into the Série A in the course of the current championship in 2010 . Shortly before going to Vasco, Lenon extended with Guarani until the end of 2019. At Vasco he only had a few missions due to an injury and therefore had to return to Guarani.

Even before his contract with Guarani expired on January 3, 2020, his new contract with Cuiabá EC was announced on December 26, 2019 .
