history

The women thereupon received the court from the owners, four canons of Neumünster Abbey in Würzburg . However, the owners retained the right of repurchase, it was redeemed in the seventh year, 1293.

In the same year the knight Otto sold the farm to the Schäftersheim monastery . This sale was sealed by Kraft I. von Hohenlohe, who also had a great influence in the region. After Otto and his daughters died, the nuns of the monastery finally received the court in Lenzenbrunn. It was not until 1367 that the Nuremberg judge Friedrich III confirmed. zu Castell the property of the nuns of Schäftersheim.

In the 18th century the farm came into the possession of the Würzburg University . The Hochstiftisches Amt Röttingen, however, was responsible for the high level of jurisdiction. As residents of Riedenheim, the residents were also administered by their mayors . After the Würzburg University was replaced, the residents received their farms as property. The orientation towards Riedenheim increased in the period that followed, so that Lenzenbrunn is now part of the municipality.
