Leo Baeck Medal

The Leo Baeck Medal , named after the liberal German rabbi Leo Baeck , has been awarded at irregular intervals by the Leo Baeck Institute in New York since 1978 to people who have made a special contribution to German-Jewish reconciliation.

This price is not to be confused with the Leo Baeck Prize of the Central Council of Jews in Germany .
