Stuart Eizenstat (2018)

Stuart Elliot Eizenstat (born January 15, 1943 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American diplomat and lawyer. He served the USA as Ambassador to the European Union from 1993 to 1996 and as Deputy Treasury Secretary from 1999 to 2001. With the end of the Clinton administration , Eizenstat moved into the private sector and has since been a partner at Covington & Burling in Washington, DC
