Individual evidence

  1. ^ The Badener Zeitung of May 7, 1898, which appeared after the funeral (May 6 in Puchberg), mentions May 4. The different date May 5 (in the Biographical Yearbook ... ) is likely based on the information (“tonight”) on the obituary notice in the evening paper of the widespread Neue Freie Presse from May 5. The obituary in the same sheet, however, speaks of "last night"
