Leona Siebenschön ( pseudonym for Helga Petermann , born February 6, 1933 in Hamburg ; † September 27, 2001 ) was a German journalist and writer .

Life

Leona Siebenschön completed a degree in philosophy , German and pedagogy , which she completed with the state examination. She worked as a journalist and editor (including for the weekly newspaper Die Zeit ); then she lived as a freelance writer in Hamburg.

In addition to her journalistic work, Leona Siebenschön has written a number of non-fiction books on sociological and psychological topics as well as some narrative works. She was a member of the PEN Center of the Federal Republic of Germany .
