Leonie Brandis

Leonie Brandis (born September 13, 1977 in Darmstadt ) is a German actress .

Life

During his school days, Brandis played in the youth club of the Darmstadt State Theater . After graduating from high school, she began studying at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum in 1997 , which she graduated in 2001. She then played at the Schauspielhaus Bochum under Leander Haussmann . This was followed by engagements at the Schauspielhaus Hannover (2001 to 2003) and at the Schauspiel Leipzig (2004/2005) under Wolfgang Engel , as well as at the Prinz Regent Theater Bochum and the Theater unterm Dach in Berlin.

In 2002 Leonie Brandis completed a film acting course at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy under the tutors Leander Haussmann , Tom Toelle and Alexander May .

She made her comrade debut in 2003 in the SWR production Forever for You , followed by numerous other works for film and television.

In 2014 she took on a leading role in the new ARD series Dating Daisy , directed by Züli Aladag , which was broadcast in autumn 2014.
