Leopoldine Blasel , née Leopoldine Korner or Leopoldine Körner ( August 10, 1858 in Vienna - June 8, 1926 there ) was an Austrian opera singer ( soprano ) and stage actress .

Life

Blasel began, trained by Franz von Suppè , in 1875 at the Carltheater in Vienna as a theater actress and singer and then worked in Linz in 1877, then in Baden near Vienna in 1878, Munich 1879, Budapest 1880, Salzburg 1881 and followed an application to the Gärtnerplatztheater in 1882 Munich. Then she was engaged at the Friedrich-Wilhelmstädtisches Theater in Berlin from 1883 to 1884 , at the Carl-Schultze-Theater in Hamburg in 1885 and again at the Friedrich-Wilhelmstädtisches Theater in Berlin from 1887 to 1888. In 1899 she married Paul Blasel in Brno and from then on followed him in his engagement.

She was buried in the urn wall of the Simmering fire hall (Dept. MR, Gr. 106, No. 7 - already abandoned) in Vienna.
