Leslie Clio
Leslie Clio (* 16th August 1986 in Hamburg ) is a German pop - singer .
Life
After graduating from high school, Clio moved to Berlin . She describes her style as "soul pop". In addition to two tours of her own, she was on tour with Bosse , Keane , Marlon Roudette and Phoenix . Nikolai Potthoff produced her first album Gladys , which was released on February 8, 2013. The debut single Told You So was released on September 15, 2012. The second single I Couldn't Care Less is u. a. can also be heard on the soundtracks ofschlussmacher and Today I'm blond .
Clio was the guest singer on Oliver Koletzki's song No Man, No Cry , which was released on October 10, 2014. In 2014 she was nominated for the Echo in the category “Best Artist National”. She appeared in various TV shows, including a. with Harald Schmidt and Schlag den Raab . In 2015 she was one of the five members of the German jury for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 . Her song Eureka was used with adapted text as the theme song for the soap opera Mila on Sat.1.
Her third album Purple was released on May 19, 2017 . The single Darkness Is a Filler was released on February 21, 2017 . In 2018 she performed at the 101st German Catholic Day in Münster . Also in 2018 she took part in the fifth season of Sing my song - The exchange concert .
In autumn 2019, Leslie Clio was the German guest star of the Night of the Proms concert series .
Clio lives in Berlin.
