Career

Liam Burt, who was born in the Scottish metropolis of Glasgow , began his career in the Youth Academy of Celtic Glasgow . In this he played until July 1, 2014, before moving to arch-rivals , the Glasgow Rangers . Burt was considered one of the greatest young talents at Celtic at this time. On March 1, 2016, Burt made his professional debut for the Rangers against the Raith Rovers under team manager Mark Warburton when he came on for Jason Holt . Until the end of the 2015/16 season , he was used again in the game against Alloa Athletic in April 2016.

National team

Liam Burt has played in international matches for the junior teams of Scotland since 2013 . He made his debut in September 2013 in the U-15 national team against Switzerland . After another game for this age group against Poland , Burt also played three times in the U-16s in 2014 . Burt has been active in the U-17 and U-19 since 2015 . With the U-17 selection, he took part in the European Championships for this age group in 2015 and 2016 . At the 2016 tournament, Burt led the team as captain .
