The Liese is a brook in North Rhine-Westphalia . It rises in the Beckum Mountains and flows into the Glenne between Wadersloh and Lippstadt (Liesborn) . The stream is 18.56 km long and has a 90.50 km² catchment area .

The Liese is called differently in its course. The upper course in Beckum and in the Altendiestedde peasantry is called Liese or Liesenbach , the next section in Diestedde is called Mühlenbach , below the confluence of the Boxelbach , in the district of Wadersloh, the brook is called Rottbach , and in the district of Liesborn , from the confluence of Rottbach and Biesterbach , the stream is called again Liese or Liesenbach.
