At Lincoln High School, popular teacher Ken Knowles is suspended. The police officer Dante Jackson has his first day in the new job, in which he takes care of the school. Jackson's actions add to the tension in the high school. He is shot while interfering in the argument between Ziggy and Lester.
Ziggy, Lester, and four other students, including pregnant Lynn, hide in the school. You take Jackson hostage.
Police negotiator Audrey McDonald tries to get the students to surrender.
Reviews
James Berardinelli wrote on ReelViews that the thriller contained relatively few action scenes. Berardinelli praised Craig Bolotin for telling the story without exploiting the current cases in the US schools. He also praised Forest Whitaker's game.
The lexicon of international films wrote of a "[p] lacative [m] and clichéd [m] drama", the "script of which follows extremely trivial knitting patterns."
