Political Film Society Award for Peace
The Political Society Award for Peace is a category of Political Film Society Awards presented annually by the Political Film Society (PFS) since 1987. Films are awarded that show the absurdity of violent conflict resolution or the superiority of non-violent solutions.
Only established PFS members nominate films for the award; the number of nominated films varies from year to year.
In addition to television and documentary productions, all films that run for at least a week in a commercial cinema in the Los Angeles area or that are distributed on DVD can be proposed .
