action
Friends Ralph Carr and Scott lived in a small town in Maryland during the Vietnam War . Scott's brother is called up. The friends become enemies of the war.
The relationship between Scott and his father deteriorates. He and Ralph leave town.
The friends return to find out that Scott's brother is dead. This experience brings Scott and his father closer together. Ralph's sister Beth falls in love with Scott.
Reviews
Rita Kempley wrote in the Washington Post of 18 November 1988, the film show a "synthetic" Picture of the Year 1969. They described him as a " soap opera " (soap opera) .
