Buddy begins a career as a comedian, accompanied by his brother Stan. Stan even puts the brother in contact with the attractive women from the audience. Buddy has problems with his daughter.
Years later, Stan accuses Buddy of wasting his own life on his brother . Buddy replies that being close to a star gave Stan a life in the first place. In the end, Buddy makes up with his daughter and brother.
Reviews
The Lexicon of International Films wrote: “In numerous flashbacks, the film describes the highs and lows of a long career and the complex relationship of an unequal pair of brothers. Apart from the sentimental finale, the fast-paced film keeps the balance between comedy and hidden tragedy. As entertaining as it is touching. "
