Limkokwing University of Creative Technology ( Malay Universiti Teknologi Kreatif Limkokwing , even for short Limkokwing ) is a private university with internationally distributed campus in Africa, Europe and Asia. The mother campus is located in Cyberjaya , Malaysia ; the university has a total of more than 30,000 students from more than 150 countries on campuses in Kuala Lumpur , Melaka , Kuching , Botswana , Cambodia , Lesotho , Sierra Leone , Swaziland and the UK .

It is considered to be one of the leading arts and design schools in Asia and also has a high place in the Asian university ranking QS Rankings .

The Limkokwing Institute of Creative Technology was founded in 1991 by Tan Sri Dato 'Sri Paduka Dr Lim Kok Wing . In 2002 it became the first private college to be recognized as a university college.

Limkokwing Lesotho in Maseru , the capital of Lesotho . Opened by Prime Minister Pakalitha Mosisili on October 15, 2008.
Limkokwing Malaysia in Cyberjaya , a newly established city in Malaysia. 9,500 students from 145 countries study there alone. The campus has the State Prize Highest Enrollment of Foreign Students Award and Special Award for Globalizing Malaysian Education from the Malaysian Ministry of Education and the Export Excellence Award from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry .
